Preventive Screening

At Vista Healthcare we want to keep you healthy. We believe in establishing compassionate, comprehensive, and through healthcare. Vista Healthcare believes in optimizing health promotion by keeping your yearly exams and preventative health screening recommendations up to date.

Vista Healthcare looks at your entire health picture. We know that certain health problems and cancers can be prevented with early screening and detection. Tracking a patient’s personal and family history can help establish safe and up to date guidelines.

We offer comprehensive treatment
plans for the following:

Colonoscopies

Having regular screening colonoscopies starting at age 50 is a national standard. If someone has a personal family history of colon cancer, screening colonoscopies may need to be started early. Follow up or call Vista Healthcare for more information at 208-881-0902.

Prostate Cancer

At Vista healthcare we believe in following and tracking PSA levels. We think that good prostate health and screening starts early. Follow up or call Vista Healthcare for more information at 208-881-0902.

Mammograms

Screening mammograms should start at age 40.  If someone has a personal family history of breast cancer, screening mammograms may start before 40. Here at Vista Healthcare we also believe in genetic testing. If someone has a significant family history of breast or ovarian cancer, more in-depth counseling and testing may be offered.  BRACA testing is available for individuals who have increased risks for these genetic cancers. Follow up or call Vista Healthcare for more information at 208-881-0902.
