Nurse practitioners are often called the link between registered nurses and regular doctors. A nurse practitioner can do anything a doctor can at a general clinic or family clinic. They are able to diagnose, write prescriptions, and run their own clinic. Nurse practitioners focus more on health prevention and health education in all areas of medicine. Doctors can admit to hospice and hospitals and nurse practitioner in the state of Idaho have a supervising physician if someone needs to be admitted to hospice or to the hospital.
You may accidentally call her Dr. Jones, but you don’t need to worry. Rachelle prefers to have a close relationship with all her patients so if you accidentally call her Dr. Jones, Ms. Jones, or Mrs. Jones she won’t mind, but in the end she prefers Rachelle.
